DENVER (AP) — Voting is about to begin in the race to win a commencement speech by President Barack Obama.
The White House says people can start voting at 6 a.m. Monday for one of six schools named as finalists, including the Denver School of Science & Technology. People can see and rate three-minute videos and short essays from each school at http://www.WhiteHouse.gov/Commencement.
Voting will continue through Thursday. Obama will pick a winner from the three top finishers on May 4.
The other schools in the running are in Overland Park, Kansas, Cincinnati, Ohio, Lawndale, Calif., Kalamazoo, Mich. and Miami.
