Police have not found the shooter
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night that put one man in the hospital.
Officers were initially called to a disturbance outside a laundromat on the 1100 block of North Circle Drive just before 9:00 p.m.
While en route, police were advised that shots had been fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found a male victim with multiple gunshots to his legs.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital where he's said to be in stable condition.
Police say they are pursuing several leads.
Witnesses describe the suspect as an African-American male in his twenties, around 5 feet 9-inches tall with a slender build.
