DENVER (AP) — One hundred Colorado school kids are headed to the University of Denver to find out who's best at geography. The Colorado State Geography Bee championships start Friday morning. Students between fourth and eighth grades are competing for the state title and a trip to the national Geography Bee in Washington. Students are tested on their knowledge of world cultures and land masses, plus rivers and bodies of water. The national winner receives a $25,000 college scholarship.
