DENVER (AP) -- Denver police are investigating a fatal crash involving a city bus that ran a red light.

Police spokesman Matthew Murray said Sunday that investigators were looking at whether charges should be filed.

Two people were killed and at least 12 others, including the bus driver, were injured in Saturday's crash.

Witnesses say the bus hit a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit, then pushed a pickup into a parking lot and against a billboard pole.

The two people who died were riding in the Volkswagen. The male driver hasn't been identified but police said the passenger was 28-year-old Carla Miranda of Denver.

The driver of the pickup was also seriously injured. Ten passengers of the bus were hurt, including four with serious injuries.
