STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Steamboat Springs is welcoming home some of its Winter Olympians.

A parade through downtown is being held Friday night for the U.S. Nordic sports team that won medals at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Before the Vancouver games, the only Olympic medals won by the Americans in Nordic sports were a silver by cross-country skier Bill Koch in 1976 and a bronze by ski jumper Anders Haugen in 1924.

Olympians Johnny Spillane, Todd Lodwick and Taylor Fletcher of Steamboat Springs are scheduled to take part in events Friday, along with teammates Brett Camerota and Bill Demong.
