COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police officers were dispatched to a possible shooting just before 1 a.m. on Friday in the 3900 Block of East Bijou Street.
Officers made contact with a male victim who said he had been robbed. The victim stated he had just left his apartment when he was approached from behind by an unknown suspect(s).
The suspect took the victim's wallet and cell phone, but he was able to arm himself with a gun.
Shots were exchanged between the victim and the suspect, according to the police report. The suspect(s) left the area prior to police arrival.
No injuries were reported. Investigation is ongoing
