CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (AP) -- An economic development group says Denmark-based Aluwind has chosen to expand operations in Castle Rock.

Aluwind is a manufacturer and supplier for the wind turbine industry.

The Castle Rock Economic Development Council said Thursday that Aluwind expects to have 30 employees in Castle Rock providing customers with manufactured goods by July. The group says Aluwind's longer-term plans call for adding 50 to 75 more workers.

Aluwind didn't immediately return an e-mail seeking comment Thursday.

Other wind-power industry companies including the Danish wind-turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems also have some operations in Colorado.
