BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — An Alaska inmate suspected of killing his girlfriend in Colorado almost four years ago is fighting his extradition to Boulder. Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett said Wednesday he still expects to have 40-year-old John Angerer in Colorado by June. Angerer faces a second-degree murder charge for the death of 38-year-old Angela Josephine Wilds. Her decomposed body was found by hikers in a shallow grave at the South St. Vrain Canyon. Boulder detectives say DNA samples taken from things near Wilds' remains matched DNA taken from Angerer. Angerer is being held on $1 million bail at the Anchorage Corrections Complex.
