DENVER (AP) — The weekend started early for hundreds of Colorado students with a snow day, as drivers dealt with a storm that brought snowy, icy roads. Rocky Mountain National Park reported 10 inches of snow near Bear Lake as of 8 a.m. Friday. The National Weather Service said Boulder and Fort Collins reported about four inches. Multiple accidents Friday morning closed westbound Interstate 70 at Morrison, west of Denver. Winter storm warnings were in effect through 6 a.m. Saturday for cities including Aspen and Vail, with up to 18 inches of snow possible. Pitkin County officials reported ice and poor visibility Friday morning in Snowmass Village and on Colorado 82, which links I-70 to Aspen. (Copyright 2010 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
