COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Students from the Evangelical Christian Academy (ECA) spent Monday helping out in the community under the auspices of IMPACT 2010.

All students from kindergarten to high school participated. They went to various volunteer locations in Colorado Springs. Some locations include the Springs Rescue Mission, the Marian House, and the Ronald McDonald House.

In total, the students volunteered their time at 23 different places.

The theme for IMPACT 2010 is "Learning to Serving, Serving to Give, Giving to Learn."

Staff at ECA hope the students gain the value of service while learning to love their neighbors as themselves.
