COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- There was an attempted robbery Sunday night just after 7:30 at the Taste of India Grocery, 4836 Flintridge Drive.
Police say a white male in his thirties, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, entered the store and produced a handgun while demanding money from the clerk.
During the attempt, a customer walked in the store and the suspect fled the area on foot.
A police canine unit attempted a track of the suspect but was unsuccessful in finding him.
There were no injuries during the incident.
