FALCON, COLO. -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office on Friday, March 5, received a report of a stabbing at 11858 Trissino Heights in Falcon.

When deputies arrived, it was determined the suspect was a 15-year-old white male who had allegedly stabbed his 51-year-old mother. 

The victim went to a neighbor’s home to report the incident. The suspect fled the area on foot, according to officials. 

At about 8:30 a.m., the suspect was observed returning to the area of the home and was taken into custody without incident. 

The suspect is in custody at this time and charges are pending.
