Inventor of what we now call the home security system, in 1966 Marie Brown and her partner Albert Brown applied for the patent of the closed circuit television security system.
Although used in many housholds and businessess today, this invention was totally unfathomable in 1966. What's more, an added feature to her invention was an automated door lock.
Yet another feature well before its time.
