COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- There's a clash in the kitchen as chefs pair up with Southern Colorado media celebrities for a "Cooking Competition" at the 15th Annual Hospitality Expo this Sunday, Feb. 28 at Broadmoor Hall at The Broadmoor.

The show is sponsored by the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, and proceeds benefit ProStart -- a scholarship program designed to help students who are interested in a career in the field of culinary arts.

FOX21's Kimberly Price is teaming up with Amy Pontius from Garden of the Gods Gourmet and Larissa Warner from Cafe 36. They stopped by FOX21 Morning News to give her a crash course in some of the basic principles of preparing dishes -- and a sample of some of the orders they may be barking at her during the intense competition!

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Ticket sales begin at 12:00 p.m. and the doors open at 12:30 p.m. There's also a raffle ticket drawing that, for the first time ever, allows a member of the public to be a "guest judge" of the chef/media competition.
