CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities say a Denver doctor accused of stabbing a nurse while he was hospitalized has been arrested and he's posted bail.
A spokeswoman for the 18th Judicial District in Centennial said Friday 53-year-old Grady Michael Holder posted $200,000 bail and that no charges have been filed yet. Spokeswoman Casimir Spencer says authorities are still investigating but that pending charges include attempted first-degree murder, menacing, and second-degree assault.
Police say Holder asked a nurse into his room Saturday night at Sky Ridge Medical Center and stabbed her in her upper arm with a knife. The Denver Post and KUSA-TV reported that he was being hospitalized for alcohol abuse.
Authorities were waiting for Holder to be released from the hospital to arrest him.
