BRUSH, Colo. (AP) -- The State Patrol says a preschool teacher killed in a rollover crash was not texting at the time of the accident like it was initially believed.

Patrol investigators say there was a time gap between when 23-year-old Megan Schneider sent her last text message and when the accident happened Jan. 28. The State Patrol says Schneider was on her way to school when her pickup went off Interstate 76 near Brush. Her truck rolled more than two times and she was ejected from the vehicle.

Light snow had made road conditions slippery at the time of the accident.

Hundreds of people mourned Schneider at Fort Morgan High School days after the accident.
