DENVER (AP) — California?

Colorado lawmakers were incredulous after Gov. Bill Ritter declared that Friday is "Colorado Loves California Day."

Republican Rep. Jim Kerr of Littleton said, "Are you kidding me," after he found out it wasn't a joke.

It's all part of a campaign by the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp. to draw California businesses looking to expand or relocate to Colorado.

The campaign includes a valentine-themed ad in the business section of the Los Angeles Times and about 20 people dressed as Cupid, complete with wings, handing out chocolate and information on Colorado in downtown Los Angeles on Friday.
