GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- Greeley police say a mother and her 22-month-old daughter were injured when a truck in their home's driveway struck them.
Police say the 30-year-old mother was washing the inside of a Ford F-150 when the truck began moving down the driveway and hit the toddler Wednesday afternoon. Police say the child suffered a large cut on her head but was conscious when emergency crews arrived. She was airlifted to Children's Hospital.
Police say the mother was trying to get the truck to stop when she was hit. She was treated for leg bruises.
