Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak says it has to do with how they eat.
His new book, "The 5 Factor World Diet", highlights some of the eating secrets from around the globe.
Pasternak was on the FOX21 Morning News Thursday to explain his findings and how Americans can incorporate them in to their everyday lifestyles.
Some of his suggestions including eating more soy, eating smaller portions, stop eating when you are 75 percent full and eat more fish and vegetables.
