COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are investigating a suspicious death.
The body of a woman was found around 2:30 Monday morning in the 1000 block of Querida Dr.
A family member reportedly called police saying that a dead body may be inside the residence.
Police arrived to discover the female victim with what are being described as "suspicious injuries".
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
Police say there were two children inside the home, though they were not injured.
