DENVER (AP) -- Lawmakers and staffers at the state Capitol have raised $5,200 for the relief effort in Haiti.
Lawmakers paid at least $50 each to be able to wear jeans to work on Friday, although they still had to wear dress jackets.
Staffers paid $10 each to participate.
Lawmakers also passed a resolution concerning the tragedy.
The money raised will to groups including the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.
