GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Want to make a job application stand out? Try robbing your potential employer at gunpoint.

A California woman is accused of robbing Premier Cash Advance in Greeley in December. In affidavits reported Friday by the Greeley Tribune, investigators say Christine Drummond and Joseph Nieto confessed to robbing the cash advance store and a bank. They took about $16,500.

The couple told police they needed cash to get to California to spend Christmas with their children.

Employees at the check-cashing store recognized Drummond because she'd applied for a job at the store two months before. Police were given Drummond's job application, which listed her address in Visalia, Calif. The couple was arrested in California and is awaiting extradiction to Colorado.
