DENVER (AP) — A Christian humanitarian agency plans to ship 110,000 pounds of aid supplies from Denver International Airport to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

The supplies from World Vision are expected to be loaded onto a FedEx plane en route Monday morning to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The shipment will include tarps, blankets, water bottles and hygiene kits.

Other FedEx flights carrying supplies are expected depart Monday from Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

World Vision, based in Federal Way, Wash., also shipped nearly 20 tons of tents, blankets, cooking utensils and other survival equipment to Haiti from Denver last week.

About 100,000 or more people are estimated to have died from the magnitude-7.0 quake.
