House fire on East Kiowa

A house fire broke out in the 800 block of East Kiowa street around 4:00pm Friday.

The homeowners were cooking when the fire started.

They called 911 and crews responded, quickly putting out the flames.

The home has extensive damage and the family has been displaced. Red Cross will be assisting the family.

No other homes in the area were damaged and no one was hurt.
