HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (AP) -- A coroner says a teen who collapsed and died during a Highlands Ranch High School fun run probably died of cardiac arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat.

The Arapahoe County autopsy report says 15-year-old Quinton F. Sanford died of natural causes.

The report, dated Dec. 3, found no clear heart abnormalities. It says he suffered from asthma but his lungs showed no signs of an asthma-related attack or reaction to medication.

The teen was running with his father when he collapsed on Sept. 30. His father and a physician gave him CPR, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
