DURANGO, Colo. (AP) -- A bomb threat called into a 911 dispatch center for Durango prompted evacuations that affected hundreds of people at the La Plata County courthouse, a college and two schools.

Durango police say a male caller made the threat anonymously Wednesday morning on an unspecified courthouse, Fort Lewis College, Miller Middle School and Durango High School. The evacuations affected an estimated 3,000 people at the college and schools.

Police Capt. Micki Browning says no bombs were found in a sweep of the buildings. Officers were pursuing leads on a possible suspect.

The evacuations disrupted finals at Fort Lewis, which closed for the day. Student housing and dining services later reopened.

The evacuations also disrupted a sexual-assault trial.
