COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police Wednesday arrested two men in connection with the Sept. 27 drive-by shooting of Susana Pelayo Perez, 35, of Colorado Springs.
Perez was a passenger in a vehicle near the Shannon Glen Apartments at 220 N. Murray Blvd. when shots from a passing vehicle hit her. The driver of the car she was in took her to Memorial Hospital where she later died from her wounds. Her murder was the 17th in the city at the time.
Arrested were Kyle Gray, 24, and Kandin Wilson, 28, both of Colorado Springs.
They were being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center at the time of their arrests on unrelated charges.
