COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Madison Elementary School will be closed for students tomorrow, Friday, Dec.11. 

This is to allow for the necessary clean up from the broken pipes and to ensure the school will be ready for students on Monday.

Colorado Springs School District 11 has notified FOX21 News that due to broken pipes and lack of water to the building, Madison Elementary School is closing for the day.

Information will be released to the public when a decision has been made about Friday's schedule.

Madison Elementary is located at 4120 Constitution Ave. in Colorado Springs.
