USPS to assist soldiers with holiday mailing

FORT CARSON, COLO. -- The Soldier Family Assistance Center (SFAC) and the United States Postal Service, Colorado Springs, will provide some extra special holiday mailing support for wounded warriors and their families at the SFAC on Friday at 10 a.m.

SFAC is located at 1839 O'Connell Blvd., Building 1039 at Fort Carson. Phone is 719-526-58047.

Postal workers and volunteers will be on hand to assist wounded warrior soldiers and their families with their gift wrapping, holiday cards and package mailing to their loved ones overseas and throughout the U.S. 

Santa will also make a special stop to visit with the children and get their letters delivered to the North Pole. Other festivities and entertainment will be provided.
