Man arrested in Black Forest arson case

BLACK FOREST, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's office has located and arrested the owner of a house at 13645 Wild Oak Dr. that burned and was declared a total loss on July 22, 2009.

Investigators searched for several days following the fire to contact the owner, Mark Rance,38. 

After an extensive investigation into the fire, an arrest warrant was obtained for Rance and he was arrested and taken into custody at 8255 Forest Height Cir. on Tuesday.

He is being charged with first-degree arson and is being held at El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on $75,000 bond.
