Police arrest 2 for selling cocaine, recover cash

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- On Monday just after 11 a.m., Colorado Springs Police Department arrested two people for distribution of cocaine when they sold more than 28 grams of cocaine to undercover detectives.

In addition to the cocaine, detectives recovered $2,682 along with various items of drug paraphernalia from the home at 3805 Maizeland Road.

The names of the suspects were not released. Police say they were charged with unlawful distribution of a Schedule II controlled substance. The pair was booked into the Criminal Justice Center.

During the course of this investigation, 84.9 grams of cocaine valued at $8,490 was seized.
