COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- * Lots of art events taking place in the pikes peak region. The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (FAC) presents "Bold,” a series of panoramic photographs taken by Peruvian artist Diego Lama. Lama himself describes the series as a testimony about the cultural politics in Peru. FAC is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The exhibit runs through December 6.
* The Business of Arts Center in Manitou Springs concludes its month of silent auction exhibits with the big Auction Connection event. It's from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the center located at 513 Manitou Ave. Auction items include donated works by prominent area artists and the international visionary, Christo. Food, drinks and live music complete the evening. If you can't be there in person online viewing and bidding will be available at www.thebac.org before 6 p.m. For more information call 719-685-1861.
