COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- On Monday night just before 9:00, Colorado Springs police officers responded to a home invasion at 3303 N. Hancock Ave., lot #16.
Two adult males an adult female and a juvenile male were home when they heard a knock at the front door. The homeowner answered the door and two males wearing masks forced their way into the home.
One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a silver-colored semi-auto handgun and the other was armed with a knife with a four-inch blade.
The homeowner struggled with one of the suspects and all of the occupants escaped after the suspects moved to the back of the home.
Police contained the area and a conducted a search with its caninue unit, but the suspects were not found. They apparently fled out a rear door and north through the complex.
No items were reported missing from the house.
