COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- FOX21 News has received the following cancellation notifications from organizations about events scheduled for Saturday, Oct, 10, due to freezing temperatures in the area:
* Catholic Elem. Schools in Colorado Springs: Angel Run at the Grace Center - Canceled
* Miami-Yoder School District JT-60: Due to I-25 Corridor Road Conditions, Homecoming football game moved to 3 p.m., tentatively. UPDATE
* Falcon Baptist Church: Due to icy roads, the Missions Conference meeting for Saturday evening, including the Children's Missions Conference, has been canceled. Praise Team practice for Saturday has also been canceled. Sunday morning activities will be held as scheduled.
* St. Andrews Epicopal Church: Saturday Community Dinner Canceled UPDATE
* The play, The Mouse Trap, at North Middle School has been cancelled this evening due to weather related driving conditions.
Colorado Springs Department also advises the public that it is on "cold reporting status," which means unless your vehicle is disabled in a crash, wait to report the incident until conditions improve or within 72 hours.
