Bicyclist hit by lightning; in serious condition

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -- Police say a bicyclist was struck by lighting in the Denver suburb of Englewood and is hospitalized in serious condition.

Police say the 56-year-old man was hit Wednesday shortly after 5 p.m. His name hasn't been released.

He was taken to Swedish Medical Center.
