COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police were dispatched at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday to the 7-11 Store at 981 S. Union Blvd. on report of a robbery.
The clerk told police two men -- one brandishing a baseball bat, the other waving a butcher knife -- demanded money.
Both suspects were described by the clerk as being 15 years old.
One suspect, a white male, was wearing a white baseball hat, white shirt and blue pants. The other suspect, a black man, was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
The police report says the suspects were "violent" upon entry into the store and threw a customer to the ground, which resulted in one knee being injured.
The suspects fled the store in an unknown direction, according to the report.
When police checked the area, they found money that had been taken in the robbery behind the 7-11 and returned it to the clerk.
