Brighton police investigate body found in field

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) -- Brighton police say a woman who was walking her dog found the body of a man lying in a field.

Police spokesman John Bradley identified the man as 55-year-old David Lee Rodriguez. His body was found Friday but the discovery wasn't announced until Monday.

Bradley says investigators found no apparent signs of violence.

They are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
