Victim provided description that led to his capture
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, Colorado Springs Police Department officers were dispatched to 6 Boulder Crescent on the report of a female screaming in the area.
The address is the location of a bed and breakfast, Crescent Lily Inn.
Officers located a woman who was the victim of a sexual assault. A suspect description was obtained from her and officers searched the area.
Police found a male running through some nearby buildings and determined he was the suspect in the assault.
He has been identified as 48-year-old Archie Nelson. He was taken to the Colorado Springs Criminal Justice Center and charged with sexual assault and kidnapping.
