Correction: Fish and Wildlife does not oppose pipeline

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) -- In an Aug. 14 story about a developer's proposal to build a pipeline to carry water from Wyoming to Colorado, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is opposing the plan.

The agency does not oppose the project.

The agency has commented that an environmental study should address the project's possible effects on fish and wildlife species.
