MAYBELL, Colo. (AP) -- About 90 percent of a lightning-sparked wildfire in northwest Colorado is contained.
More accurate mapping Wednesday showed the fire on federal land 20 miles west of Maybell was about 2,000 acres. The size was reported as 3,000 acres Tuesday.
Officials say no structures are threatened. No injuries have been reported.
The fire started in ponderosa pine but then moved into pinon and juniper, quickly spreading across the treetops.
