DENVER (AP) -- A 17-member legislative task force is reviewing proposed changes to Colorado's business personal property tax.
The committee, which meets Friday, is studying business personal property tax exemptions that eliminate or phase out the business personal property tax, the effect of exemptions on state and local governments, and methods to reimburse revenue losses due to the exemption.
The task force is expected to report to the General Assembly no later than Nov. 1.
