COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A group of college-aged bicyclists are in Colorado Springs for a good cause.

They are part of the Bike and Build organization. They are separated into "legs." The group in Colorado Springs started biking in South Carolina. Along they way, they gather donations and raise awareness for affordable housing. They have made stops in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Oklahoma.

In Colorado Springs, they are building a house through the Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.

The Bike and Builders have made several stops along the way volunteering their time. The house in Colorado Springs is built fully funded by a Bike and Build grant.

This group will end up in Santa Cruz, California. All in all, they will have ridden about 4,000 miles.

For information on their progress and how you can contribute, go to the Bike and Build Web site.
