DENVER (AP) -- Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter is joining U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to announce new options for children's health care.
Ritter is holding a conference call with Sebelius on Monday to announce new financial resources for organizations that work to ensure children have insurance coverage.
Ritter signed the Colorado Healthcare Affordability Act this year. He says it will provide coverage to more than 100,000 uninsured Coloradans and make health care more affordable by reducing uncompensated care and cost-shifting.
