GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- A former Greeley man has been arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of murder in the death of his estranged wife 14 years ago.

Forty-four-year-old John Sandoval is accused in the death of Kristina Sandoval, who had filed for divorce before she disappeared in Greeley in October 1995. Her body has never been found.

Las Vegas Police Sgt. Dave Stansbury said Sandoval was arrested outside his home on a warrant issued after recent re-interviews with witnesses. Sandoval had been living in the city for about 10 years and working in a Sam's Club.

Stansbury said authorities in Greeley think Sandoval killed his wife and buried the body.

He's being held without bond pending extradition to Colorado.
