DENVER (AP) — More details Thursday on how Colorado is spending some $2 billion in federal funds for economic stimulus.
The governor's office is planning to brief a stimulus oversight board on what's been spent so far. The advisory panel is also planning to hear from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
The oversight panel is charged with making sure the stimulus money is spent properly, though the board of 12 business leaders and state officials doesn't make decisions about where to send the money.
The board will also take public comment on the stimulus spending.
