COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- More than 40 restaurants in 3 hours -- all at one low price, and all for a good cause.
That's what you get at the 14th Annual Colorado Restaurant Expo & Culinary Competition on Sunday, March 8, at The Broadmoor West.
Doors open at 12 p.m., and the show runs until 3 p.m. Some of the Pikes Peak Region's finest eating establishments will be on hand to give samplings of their cooking, and attendees will be able to meet and greet many favorite local chefs.
The centerpiece of the action is the Media Cooking Challenge, where representatives from local media outlets pair up with up-and- coming chefs to prepare a four-course menu for a panel of judges.
Tickets for the Expo are $40, and can be purchased in advance at www.ppcra.org (there's a discount with advance purchases) or they are available at the door.
