COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Focus on the Family founder James Dobson is scheduled to appear on the new Fox program "Glenn Beck" to discuss his historic final interview with Ted Bundy.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Dobson's Jan., 23 1989, conversation with Bundy, one of the most notorious serial killers in American history.
Dobson's interview airs on FOX News Channel beginning this afternoon at 3 p.m.
Also happening today, the community will come together this afternoon to help save the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. Some dedicated parents are trying to raise $75,000 to keep one D.A.R.E. officer in nine area schools. Today they host a fundraiser at Skate City from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Former Denver Broncos all-pro kicker, Jason Elam, now with the Atlanta Falcons, will be in Colorado Springs today for a booksigning for his new novel, "Blown Coverage." Written with Steve Yohn, "Blown Coverage" is the second football thriller co-authored by Elam.
