Pueblo provides Christmas tree recycling for citizens

Drop-off days are January 3 and 4

PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo city and county residents can drop off Christmas trees at no cost on Saturday, January 3, and Sunday, January 4, at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, Gate 8 at the corner of Small and Euclid Aves., between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both days.

Remove all decorations, tree stands, wires or nails from trees. Trees must be dropped off at designated times only.

Free mulch will be available to the public after 11 a.m. on Monday, January 5, on a first come, first served basis.

The Christmas Tree Recycling Drop-off is coordinated by the Pueblo City-County Health Department’s Environmental Coordinator Program and sponsored by Blackhills Energy, and EPAC (Environmental Policy Advisory Committee) of the Pueblo Area Council of Governments.
