Man he attacked in Pueblo has died of injuries

PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police are asking for the public's help in locating 23-year-old Julian Benito Archuleta.

On Nov. 15, 2008, at approx. 11:30 p.m., 39-year-old Michael Vigil and his brother, Tony Vigil, were attacked by Julian Archuleta and severely beaten at Second and Court Streets.

Twenty five days after the assault, the victim, Michael Vigil, died as a result of the beating.

A new warrant has now been issued for Julian Archuleta for first-degree homocide.

Archuleta is known to have addresses in Pueblo, Walsenburg and Ellicott. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately. 5 feet 9 inches tall, 250 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Julian Archuleta should be considered armed and dangerous.
