FOX21 Morning News anchor Grace Polanski talks with Laura Schaelling and Wendy Brez of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region on the Monday, Oct. 20, "Family 411" segment about scholarships and running.

The 11th annual YMCA "Turkey Trot" is set for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 at the Briargate Family Center YMCA.

A 5K run for adults and 1K Kids Fun Run both begin at 9 a.m. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.

The $20 Early Bird registration fee includes a long-sleeved t-shirt. Registration the day of the race is $17, but does not include a t-shirt. One may be purchased for an additional $5, however.

The event raises money for YMCA scholarships for the organization's programs to help pay for needy children to attend day camp and other classes.
